Ground breaking ceremony for new industrial park, workers’ housing projects in Bac Ninh

Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park, invested by VIGLACERA Corporation – a joint stock company, has an area of nearly 250 hectares. Located near National Roads 17 and 38 and Ring Road 4, it is easy for the park to reach all the international airports in the region – Noi Bai (Hanoi), Cat Bi (Hai Phong) and Van Don (Quang Ninh) – as well as major sea ports of Dinh Vu (Hai Phong) and Cai Lan (Quang Ninh).

Yen Phong Industrial Park Workers Housing Project with 2,000 apartments for factory workers and experts in the northern province of Bac Ninh also constructed by VIGLACERA Corporation – a joint stock company on February 8^th. The affordable housing project will offer accommodation for around 10,000 factory workers and experts from Yen Phong Industrial Park in Bac Ninh; indirectly supporting costs and creating human resources for businesses in the industrial zone.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized the Party and State's interest in the development of social housing, particularly those for industrial park workers and highly appreciated important results Bac Ninh province has achieved in socio-economic development over the past time.

VIGLACERA – a joint stock company is one of the leading enterprises of the Ministry of Construction, with a high reputation in the field of building materials production. Two projects demonstrated the strategic thinking and high sense of responsibility of the Corporation's leaders; contributed to the socio-economic development of the locality; took care the material and spiritual life for workers in industrial zones in the locality.

The minister expressed his hope that authorities of Bac Ninh, Viglacera and other developers will pay more attention to developing affordable apartments for workers. He pledged that the Ministry of Construction will help the firms resolve challenges when constructing these projects.
