Ceremony to hand over the decision to the Acting Director of Vietnam Institute of Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning (VIUP)

The Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan handed over an appointment decision to Mr. Luu Duc Cuong

On behalf of the leaders of Ministry of Construction, the Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan congratulated Mr. Luu Duc Cuong. He said at this period VIUP starts the new page in 60-year history of foundation and development. Mr. Cuong has advantages because he has been working for a long time at the institute, clearly understands the institute and inherited many good things from the previous generations. However, there are various difficulties which Mr. Cuong have to face with in personnel work, consultancy, research, training and finance. The Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan asked VIUP to take measures for these issues such as gathering all cadres, promoting the strengths of everybody to every suitable work. VIUP should concentrate on the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Construction. Beside this, it is necessary for VIUP to attract the capable experts and architects by private policies on salaries and benefits… He hopes Mr. Cuong together with the leading board and all staffs will create exciting atmosphere, raise the living standard of the staffs, develop the institute. The Deputy Minister believes that under the leadership of the acting director Luu Duc Cuong and the board of leaders, the institute will grow up.

On the ceremony, acting director Luu Duc Cuong expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of Ministry of Construction who believed in him to assign the task of governing the Institute as well as the whole staffs and colleagues at the institute. He said this is the time for him to perfect himself, prove his abilities. He also expressed his hope to build the institute strong in all fields and take care of the staffs in the all fields.

Mr. Luu Duc Cuong expressed thanks
