2015 VIUP Spring festival

VIUP spring festival attracted more 200 architects from VIUP, foreign and domestic friends, specialists and managers to review achievements, respect typical authors, works in the fields of planning and architecture as well as to share, exchange experiences. In the festival participated Mr. Tran Ngoc Chinh - Chairman of the Viet Nam Urban Planning and Development Association; Mrs. Loida Rivera Fabré - Economical and Commercial Counselor of Cuba in Vietnam; Specialists from Cuba Physical Planning Institute, representatives from Ninh Binh Department of Construction and Ninh Binh Planning and Construction Institute…

The atmosphere of the spring festival became more excited when Mr Ngo Trung Hai – VIUP’s General Director and Mr Tran Ngoc Chinh beat the drums to mark the opening of the festival and open the picture with 4 golden characters with the meaning of best things for the beginning of the new year. After that, VIUP’s leaders gave beautiful flowers to the women with best wishes on the occasion of International women’s day. A short clip about typical activities and achivements gained by VIUP’s staffs in 2014 was presented. On this festival, Mr. Truong Van Quang – Chaiman of VIUP sub-assocciation of architects gave the decisions to new member of Vietnam Association of Architects. To mark the contribution of outstanding individuals, “2014 VIUP living space” awards were annouced with 3 third prices, 2 second prices, 1 first price and 2 grand prices which were selected by Mr Ngo Trung Hai. On occasion of International women’s day, 5 gifts were sent to 5 typical outstanding women who made achivements and contributions to 2014 VIUP activities.

The topic of this year drawing contest is the goat because 2015 is the year of the goat. The architects were attracted by this topic with the different expressions of the goats. It brought laugh to the participants. The 2015 VIUP spring festival was finished successfully in the music programme to open the hope of VIUP’s new success in 2015 on the way to build the country more brightly and sustainably.
