General director received the leader of AREP (France)

At the metting, Mr. Ngo Trung Hai introduced briefly structures, functions and duties of VIUP as well as some projects which have been done by VIUP in cooperation with the foreign partners such as Arep, IMV, IAU- lle de France, JICA, Nikken Sekkei, DDG, G8, Hansen Partnership…

Mr. Stéphane SEGUIER expressed his sincere thanks to VIUP’s leader who spent the time to receive the delegation. He said VIUP and AREP have similar scale, activities. He hopes AREP will cooperate for long term with VIUP in the fields of planning and architectural design.

Two sides also exchanged the opinions on Vietnam’s consultant market, especially in the Southern region; urbanization process and proportion; the way of cooperation in future projects to get more effectively as well as discussed concerned issues.

Known that Mr. Ngo Trung Hai will arrive France in late this year, Mr. Stéphane SEGUIER invited him to visit Arep office and meet other leaders. The detailed working plan will be informed lately.

On this occasion, the general director took the guests to visit facilities of the institute including reception hall, meeting hall, traditional room, JICA learning room…
