VIUP’s Deputy Director Luu Duc Cuong was presented the title of associate professor

Among the newly-titled, there are 52 professors including five women and 470 associate professors. Impressively, among 129 titled women are five from the ethnic minority groups of Ha Nhi and Tay.

Dr. Luu Duc Cuong, the deputy director VIUP, was also honored with the title of Associate Professor this time.

For 20 years of working, doctor Luu Duc Cuong has been a leader of 21 state-level and ministry-level research projects, has authored about 70 scientific research papers printed on magazines and summary records of domestic and international scientific conferences.

Besides research work, he also participates in training, supervising the students at universities as well as publishing books. In 2002, when studying in Toronto university, he had participated in teaching as an assistance instructor for the professors. Since 2007,  he has partipated in the short-term courses for construction staffs organized by MOC, VIUP, VUPDA… In 2012, he was invited to give lectures at Faculty of planning and development as an assistant professor at Aalborg University, Denmark. So far, Dr. Luu Duc Cuong has compiled 06 books and guidelines serving the students of Hanoi Architectural University, National University of Civil Engineering, Academy of managers for construction and cities, VIUP, VUPDA…
